They are well dressed in the period clothing of the times, loosely draped dresses, shawls and toga style attire. The colors are showing well but you can expect them to be a bit more crisp in person, also, I was having difficulty with reflections, please excuse them. There seems to be a white speck in the photos but that is not actually on the porcelain, must have been a piece of dust or something. The transfer paint is in average good condition with the usual little squiggly paint line here and there. The scene is banded with gold gilt and there is an area of wear at the bottom section, as shown. The porcelain is in nice condition and suffers no damages, only has one little scratch in the gold band. The brass rim and Victorian embossed handle are sound and secure, cleaned and polished. This close-up photo shows all the lovely flowers and color tones. The golden brass framing and handles are secure and support these pieces as they should. The outer rim is very nice with a couple of small dents that do not distort the rim and will go easily unnoticed. The handle features a pretty array of roses and leaves. The original beveled mirror is in extra fine condition, with a beautiful clear image and very little, if any, aging. The hand mirror measures the standard 9¼ inches in length with a 5 inch viewing surface. This is an engaging figural scenic vanity hand mirror and will be a treat for anyone wanting a more classical look.
