My photos are showing you exactly what you can expect, the artwork is complete and very sweetly executed. The porcelain back is damage free and I detect no scratches or apparent flaws. The outer golden brassy rim has a thin delicate scalloped edge on both the front and back sides. On the outer perimeter edge, there are several very small dents of varying degrees, one I would consider moderate but nothing so naughty as to take away from the charm of the piece. The brass handle is fashioned with those wonderful embossed Victorian roses, a classic design from that era. The handle is dent free, sturdy and strong as it should be. The mirror has a 5 inch viewing surface and is perfect in every way. It is a super quality replacement with a wide outer bevel, just like the original mirror. I have polished all of the 100+ years of grime build-up, you will receive a clean vanity accessory. This hand mirror measures the standard 9¼ in length, if purple lavender tones are needed to highlight your vanity, please consider this very attractive dresser mirror.
