It is most unusual and exciting to find a matching Bavarian coffee and teapot set, all beautifully and artistically decorated, from the 1950 - 1960 era.

These outstanding pots were professionally hand painted by the artist Agnes Visokay, both pieces carry her studio's designer label.

Artwork is expertly detailed, boasting large peachy roses and buds with subtle brown tones all on a very soft pale blue background. Very graceful shapes, the coffee pot is tall and regal, measuring a generous 11 inches high with the body bulging to 5 inches at the widest. It has a grouping of rose buds trailing down the backside from the top edge with artist initials, as shown in the last below. Artwork is stunning with very realistic roses and detailing. Shape and style is classic in form from the 1960 era. My photos are very good and express the color well but there may be a light reflection here and there.

The teapot is 7 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/2 in mid-body span and shows a large single rose and buds on the rear side. Beautifully defined roses on the front with nice gold gilded highlights on all the edges and finials, having no wear. Each piece is wonderful, in perfect condition, no chips, cracks or damages, a useful and gorgeous set. I'm hoping someone will want to keep this vintage duo together, matching service pieces are very hard to find. If peach roses are your preference, you will adore dressing your dining table with these vintage pots. Serving your guests will be a delight or give this set as a precious and thoughtful gift..
