darling biscuit cracker jar shows the Rising Sun Nippon
mark and is hand painted in multi tones of lavender and
purple violets, greenery, borders of ivory and gold accented
finials and trims. The artwork is charming, carries
itself on both sides of the piece and is complete, without
wear or loss to the gold. In excellent condition and
with cover in place, this cracker jar sits about 5 inches
tall by 6 1/2 inches across the bulging body, handles add
to the width. These lovely violets will be welcomed
amongst your Nippon or hand painted treasured collection
of antique porcelains.
