Stunning Original Antique Cranberry Chamber Lamp

She lived in a fabulous late 1800's New England Victorian home and she was downsizing to go and live with her younger sister.  She said she used the lamp just to decorate.  I was fortunate to purchase a few of her things and this is the last and best piece I kept of hers.  I have cherished this lamp for awhile but now want to share it with you.  I believe my photos show a very good representation of the lamp and what you should expect.  The color wanted to photograph a little too red but I think I am showing the actual tone fairly well, it's a wonderful soft tone, like old cranberry glass.  The photos do not show the subtle variations in the cranberry color, primarily to the shade, as is common on the older flashed pieces.  This certainly is nothing that detracts from it's charming and endearing characteristics.  The lamp looks unused and I see no reason why it could not be electrified, it would look outstanding.

The prisms and the glass foot  are clear and appear to be pressed glass.  The prisms are faceted and the foot has a bubble like pattern with a scalloped outer edge.  The lamp as shown in the last photo stands just shy of 14 inches, the shade is 8 inches in total length, the base in 6 & 1/2 in height and 4 & 1/4 in width.  The shade is quite shapely with the top fanning outward to 5 inches in diameter.  The condition is all you could hope for, no flaws that I detect.  This elegant and exquisite flash cranberry chamber candle lamp is looking for you to put it to use.  I know you will adore it as I did, it is simply splendid.
