Ornate 1920 - 1930 Filigree and Ruby Jeweled Perfume Bottle

This vintage perfume bottle will add a touch of chic sophistication to your dresser or vanity top, it has all the character of a fine Czech bottle but could be made by Apollo.

This is a very distinctive bottle, with every side having a large degree of filigree, as well as spectacular detail. My photos are displaying it all very well.

The body of this bottle is comprised of a central large faceted bezel set ruby glass jewel. Radiating from that are the rather exotic acanthus leaves and then the surrounding triangular shaped faceted bezel set ruby stones. The entire presentation is very dramatic. The backside is an interesting array of pierced and filigree brass toned metal workmanship. Inside the body of this bottle is a narrow glass perfume vial, which I believe is not removable. I keep looking for a signature on this bottle but have not found it yet.

The original stopper fits snugly into the opening and is also a work of filigree with one large center ruby stone. My pictures are very precise as to what you should expect and show the condition of the metal and stones accurately. I find no problems or serious issues with the perfume bottle, just some very minor age appropriate darkening in a couple of spots on the stopper, certainly nothing offensive. It appears that someone took very good care of this piece, keeping it rather clean and in good order. The glass dauber is intact and suffers no flaw. I have looked the stones over very well and find no issues with them, they are in very good condition.

As you can see from all my photos, this vintage filigree and ruby jeweled perfume bottle has a lot to offer it's next owner, elegance, style and creativity. This lovely bottle measures nearly 7½ in height by 2¾ in width (side to side) by 1½ in depth (front to back). This bottle is in very good well kept condition.
