I'm showing you lots of photos because the personality of this service piece is to be appreciated. The shape of the pot, the sculpted designs to the porcelain, the drippy and sponged gold detailing is all exquisite. The artwork is executed in a delicate three leaf clover pattern, all trailing about the pot. The cover and the handle have sculpted bows and I will let me photos speak for all of the other marvelous details.
The bottom of the pot is marked with 2 Ginori back stamps, dating this piece to between 1868 and 1903, so certainly, this teapot is an early one. Really a truly delightful service piece, I believe my photos show the extensive detailing on this antique Italian treasure. It will arrive in very fine condition, no damage, no cracks or chips, only very minimal gold wear but there is so much to look at on this teapot, that it goes unnoticed. This remarkable Italian Ginori teapot measures 7 1/2 inches tall by about 7 inches from the spout to the handle and 4 inches across the body, this ultra fine porcelain pot is a must have for the teapot collector, it's great.
