Close inspection does confirm that these are hand stitched and most likely made from a heavier woolen type of threading.  The first one offered has a lovely square pattern of pink burgundy multi toned roses bordered with a shiny golden threading, all on a jet black background. The interior has a black satin lining with the customary sleeve for holding your paper money and credit cards. There is also an attached change purse, for your coins, which has a green satin lining. All closures and snaps are in proper working order and function as they should.

The outer edge is fully covered with a burgundy fabric and the edge resembles piping. This wallet has been professionally cleaned but does show it was gently to moderately used, in that it has a little bit of discolor on the burgundy border. Even though this discolor is somewhat subtle, I do want to mention it for accuracy and the price does reflect this slight imperfection. Overall, this wallet is adorable, used but well cared for through it's life, having no wears or tears. These 2 photos above show this wallet very well and you will receive what you see.  This one measures 7 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 fully expanded and 3 3/4 inches by 3 3/4 when folded. The 2nd wallet, shown below, is in really perfect condition and doesn't look used at all but I will say it is barely or rarely used. It boasts larger hot pink roses on both sides and each side of the wallet is a little different with one side having a larger floral arrangement.

The outer edge has also been covered with a burgundy fabric border that looks like piping. The stitches are all very crisp and so are the colors. The interior is lined with jet black satin, with it's tradition paper money sleeve and an attached change purse, also in black satin. All snaps and closured work as they should. This wallets measures 7 7/8 inches by 3 3/4 when fully opened and 3 3/4 by 3 3/4 inches when folded. This needlepoint embroidered wallet has been professionally cleaned so you can have a completely refreshed purse accessory. This wallet with the hot pink roses really is in superior condition, a lovely hand made treasure from the past.
