This example is especially elegant and sophisticated with it's sculpted and raised Nouveau style floral top. It makes a lovely and decorative cover for the inner rouge and powder compact wells. The mesh is nice and clean, shiny and fully intact. It is securely attached at all points, without damage or wear. All hinges and clasps are in solid working order as they should be. The lid opens to reveal the empty powder well with the original "unused" Evans make-up applicator. The metal cover for the rouge well acts as a mirror and opens to show the rouge in place with wax paper cover and rouge puff, with one spot of usage. This great compact purse does not appear to have had much usage at all. I see a few scratches on the rouge cover but otherwise, this bag is splendid.
The compact components all close up snugly. The original interior lining is sound and damage free, just showing some color fading through time but not too badly. I'm showing lots of photos, front, back and interior so you can see exactly what to expect to receive. This gorgeous Evans compact vanity purse measures in it's closed position; 6 in length by 4 inches at it's widest, the compact top is 2 & 1/2 in diameter and the mesh handle drops 4 & 1/4 inches. I have seen a lot of compact purses through time but this one is an eye catcher.
